INTERCLASS TOURNAMENT 2026
Bobadilla 68 – 28 Gonzaga
The Hekima University College Interclass Tournament continued on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, with Team Bobadilla securing a convincing 68–28 victory over Team Gonzaga in the second basketball fixture of the competition. The match was played at the JST Campus.
The contest began with both teams finding the basket early. Bobadilla opened the scoring with a two-point basket before Gonzaga responded. Bobadilla was then awarded two penalty opportunities but could not convert either. After a timeout, Bobadilla continued to build their lead, finishing the opening quarter up 12–4.
Bobadilla maintained their momentum in the second quarter, extending their advantage to 22–12 by the end of the period. Gonzaga continued to compete, but Bobadilla’s higher scoring output let them carry a ten-point lead into the second half.
In the third quarter, Bobadilla added another 13 points while Gonzaga scored nine. Bobadilla therefore entered the final quarter with a 35–21 advantage.
Bobadilla produced their strongest scoring performance in the final quarter, putting up 21 points while restricting Gonzaga to just three. The decisive final period ensured a comprehensive 68–28 victory for Bobadilla at the final whistle.
The result marks Bobadilla’s first basketball victory in the interclass competition and adds further interest to the tournament as the teams continue their campaign.
