HUC Academic Quality Assessment Policy and Procedures

AQ Assessment is HUC’s primary method of regular program review, and an opportunity to reflect on the goals and the efficacy of all aspects of the department, its faculty, and its outcomes for all students in all modalities. It is an accompaniment to our strategic planning and an opportunity to seek outside expertise to offer insights for our strategic decision-making. The Procedures, which provide the framework for the faculties’ self-assessment, have been designed to reflect the HUC new strategic plan 2024-2030, so please be sure to read them carefully. The procedures and this website will help you navigate this process.

How does Academic Quality Assessment help my faculty/department/program?

Academic Quality Assessment is a tool that you can use to guide the pedagogical development and intellectual future of your faculty/department/program. It is an opportunity to assess your current state and ensure that you have clear strategic goals in teaching, research, community outreach and that innovations are in tune with the HUC priorities and CUE Standards and Guidelines.
