HUC is delighted to share this wonderful news from Boston College featuring Rev. Prof. Elias Omondi Opongo, SJ, our former colleague at HUC, who has been appointed Thomas I. Gasson, SJ, Professor for 2026–2027.
This is a remarkable recognition of his scholarship and commitment to peacebuilding. We celebrate his achievement with pride and wish him continued success in his new responsibilities as Vice Chancellor of CUEA.
Congratulations, Fr. Elias! Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!
