Admission Requirements for the MTh Programme
The prospective student must:
a) In accordance with PROG/STD/09, hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Theology, Philosophy of Religion or Religious Studies, with either:

2. a lower second-class honour (B) or a cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.50 on a scale of 4.00.
b) have received relevant training or demonstrated research capability through research, paper presentation or peer-reviewed publications and relevant working experience
c) be proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing English language at IELTS Overall Band Score of 7.0 or its equivalent,
d) pay the required application fee as directed.
e) write a statement of purpose indicating the intended field of research
f) write a short essay of not less than 100 words on any topic of choice.
g) provide two recommendation letters from competent scholars in the field,
h) the applications must reach the admissions office in due time,
i) be in a position to spend four semesters of full-time residence,
j) prospective international students will need to fill out a form and provide appropriate details to facilitate processing the student pass with the Kenyan immigration service.
