International Partnerships and Exchanges

HUC is committed to become a model university community where all students, faculty and staff feel appreciated, respected, connected, valued and engaged with the larger life of the college and beyond. To prepare students as engaged and globally minded 21st century citizens, the university college continues to enhance initiatives that broaden and deepen our cultural understanding and competency. 

Our vision is to have a Global Partnerships that will allow faculty and student collaboration to support our commitment to enhancing the quality of education that we provide to our students. These partnerships offer students meaningful cross-cultural learning experiences and strengthen understanding between countries, cultures and universities around the world.

HUC is committed to: 

  • Providing more opportunities for students to have meaningful and substantive international learning experiences through team teaching by faculty from HUC and partner institutions
  • Providing opportunities for reciprocal experiential learning
  • Establishing partnerships among our faculty and students with those from universities in strategic areas around the globe, across disciplines, in scholarship, research, and public diplomacy
  • Discovering new ways to reach out to those at the periphery such as the refugees, immigrants and women
  • Finding ways to reach out to our alumni and to involve them in the ongoing life of the HUC community

  • Faculty and student exchanges
  • Joint conferences and workshops
  • Team taught courses, including professional online courses
  • Visits by faculty, professional staff and students
